April ’25 Rockport Book Festival is a vibrant celebration of literature that brings together authors, readers, and literary enthusiasts in a picturesque coastal town. Each year, the festival showcases a range of genres, from fiction and poetry to memoirs and children’s books, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in storytelling. With engaging panel discussions, book signings, and interactive workshops led by renowned writers, the event highlights the importance of reading and fosters a sense of community among book lovers. Additionally, the festival features local vendors and food stalls, creating a lively atmosphere where participants can enjoy delicious treats while exploring the joys of literature. The Rockport Book Festival creates an unforgettable experience, encouraging a love for books and the written word in all who attend.
This was my first year at the festival, and it had a great turnout. I was impressed, and they had plenty of vendors on hand with amazing book displays, gifts, collectables, treats, and author signings. I met new and celebrated Texas authors, illustrators, creators, and publishers. I honored them with my support by getting to know them, sharing their passion, learning about their work, and buying some cool books for my collection. Be sure to join us next year and look for me in 2026!

I will present self-defense at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., emphasizing being more vigilant, safe, and mentally healthy if faced with a violent situation. I will offer a combined mini-class on conflict avoidance and hands-on self-defense techniques. It’s FREE!
